Our experience began in the conservation charity space in 2016 and in 2024 we decided it was time to offer our experience to the broader public through Wild Werx. Since then, we’ve been deeply involved in protecting endangered species and leading immersive safaris across Africa. With years of hands-on experience, we’ve built the expertise and connections that define Wild Werx today, allowing us to share our passion for Africa through unforgettable, impactful adventures.
We wanted a name that reflected not only our deep connection to nature but also how the wild is always working for you, our clients. And while no one loves the word “work,” the wild is what makes us happiest, so we swapped it out for ‘WERX.’ The result? Wild Werx—a name that captures both our spirit and our mission to craft incredible, wild experiences that feel like anything but work.
Wild Werx’s founders are both deeply committed to supporting veterans and their families. For Kevin Garrad, a former U.S. Special Forces Green Beret, and Indi Stockton, a Navy brat working for and with U.S. Special Operations Forces, the military is personal. Their mission extends beyond adventure, focusing on healing and transformation through experiences in Africa’s wilderness.
